Israel Unfiltered is powered by Jewish Federation of San Diego, where we're dedicated to helping teens explore their Jewish identity through exciting, meaningful, and safe adventures in Israel. While Israel Unfiltered 2025 marks our inaugural trip, our organization and staff bring decades of experience in leading transformative journeys to Israel.

Israel Unfiltered is designed to offer Jewish teens an authentic, real-world experience of Israel, free from political agendas or pressure to adopt any specific viewpoint. Participants will hear from a multitude of diverse perspectives, allowing them to explore and engage with Israel's complexities in a way that speaks to them personally.

safety comes first
The safety and well-being of our participants are a top priority. In light of the ongoing conflict in Israel, we are taking extra precautions with this trip to ensure the safety of all participants, chaperones, and staff. Should we deem it unsafe to proceed with the trip in Israel, we will promptly adjust plans and relocate the program to Europe.

With a strong emphasis on inclusivity, Israel Unfiltered ensures that all teens—regardless of how they identify with Judaism, their personal beliefs, gender identity, or physical or cognitive ability—feel welcome, supported, and empowered to participate in this trip. - All Teens will receive a $1000 grant from the Zeff family.
- Teens may be eligible for an additional $1,000 grant from Jewish Federation of San Diego (unless they received a similar past grant from Federation).
- Teens may be eligible for a RootOne voucher of $3,000 upon completing all pre-trip requirements.
